The PRIGO Medical and Science Grammar School in Ostrava provides free education with the possibility of obtaining a scholarship. The school focuses on 8-year and 4-year studies oriented towards those interesed in medical, pharmaceutical and veterinary specialisations or science and technical disciplines. Applicants are offered to pass the International Baccalaureate (IB) and be extensively taught foreign languages as well as be taught some subjects in a foreign language. The PRIGO Strategic Board confirmed the program of social scholarships for talented students, as well as the program of merit and scientific scholarships for all students of grammar schools and high schools from the PRIGO group. More information is available at the study department.
Every student who starts studying at a grammar school from the 2023/2024 school year or will participate in the International Baccalaureate Program (IB Diploma Programme) will receive an iPad from us. All equipment will always be new, it will be possible to use it for school, extracurricular and personal needs, and after successful completion of the studies it will be left in the personal possession of the student for a symbolic or residual price. iPad for everyone is also related to the implementation of a new system of teaching individual subjects and the use of information and communication technologies.
Interesting scholarships are also awarded for successfully representing our Grammar School or when passing the school-leaving exam with honours.
