International Baccalaureate (IB)

The PRIGO Medical and Science Grammar School will provide its students  with the possibility to take the International Baccalaureate ((simultaneously with their Czech study programme) as a part of a two-year study programme taught in the English language (IB DP).

International Baccalaureate (IB) is necessary for studying at prestigious foreign universities. If the appropriate structure for the International Baccalaureate is chosen and a corresponding score is achieved, the result will likely lead to admission to the best universities in the world, including the TOP 10. The students of our grammar school can apply for this prestigious programme at our sister grammar school, the Language and Humanities Grammar School PRIGO, which has received authorization for its implementation. The mentioned studies are free of charge for the students of the Medical and Science Grammar School PRIGO. More detailed information can be found here.

The deadline for applications for the 3rd round is set for August 1, 2025.

The Grammar School has been involved in the DofE project since 2017 (https://www.dofe.cz/en/) – The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. The programme’s goal is to support young people aged 14–24 in their comprehensive development of skills and abilities through long-term and regular activities in four interrelated areas: talent development, sports, volunteering and adventure expeditions at three levels. Upon the programme’s completion, the participants can receive an internationally recognised DofE certificate, which can help them with the admission or preparation for studying at prestigious foreign universities. You can find out more about the DofE project here.
